Description

Ingredients

  • 6 ripe Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 2 jalapeños, seeded (leave seeds for more heat)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp ground cumin (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and cumin (if using) to a food processor or blender.
  2. Pulse until desired consistency is reached—chunky or smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or lime juice if needed.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  5. Serve chilled with chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

Notes

  • This salsa is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
