Description

Delicious chocolate yogurt bites that are easy to make and perfect for a healthy dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt (can sub vegan yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (can sub honey, agave, sugar, or omit)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup protein (I used Ritual)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add the Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract and whisk to combine.
  2. Incorporate the protein powder and mix with a rubber spatula until you get a pliable dough. Note that not all protein powders are considered equal; you may need a little more or less depending on the brand used. Adjust based on the texture of the dough—it should be creamy and pliable.
  3. Grab a 1 tbsp cookie scoop and create uniform-sized balls. Roll between the palms of your hands and place on a piece of parchment paper and flash freeze for 10 minutes.
  4. While you wait, heat the chocolate chips with the coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second bursts until melted.
  5. Dip the frozen yogurt mini cheesecake bites into the melted chocolate to coat, then place back on the parchment paper. Freeze for 15 more minutes, or until the chocolate coating is firm, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Depending on the protein powder brand, you may need to adjust the amount used to achieve the desired texture.
