- Gel food coloring (red, green, or desired festive colors)
- Red, green, and white candy melts (for decorating)
- Mini candy bows or holiday sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and fine sea salt, then fold into the wet ingredients.
- Stir in the optional semi-sweet chocolate chips, if using.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- To make the buttercream frosting, beat the softened unsalted butter until creamy, then gradually add the sifted powdered sugar.
- Add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and fine sea salt, mixing until smooth and fluffy.
- Optional: Add gel food coloring to achieve desired colors and mix well.
- Once the brownies are cooled, spread a generous layer of frosting on top.
- Decorate with candy melts and sprinkles as desired.
- Slice and serve!

- Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
- These brownies can also be frozen for up to 3 months; thaw before serving.
