Description

A quick and delicious stir-fry featuring tender chicken breasts and fresh asparagus, perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil (canola or grapeseed)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or chopped scallions (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts thinly against the grain.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a wok over high heat.
  3. Add chicken and stir fry until lightly golden.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook briefly.
  5. Add asparagus and stir fry for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and toss to coat.
  7. Drizzle sesame oil over the stir fry.
  8. Cook another minute until chicken is fully cooked.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds or scallions before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes when stir-frying.
  • Pair with cooked rice or noodles for a complete meal.
