- 2 cups chow mein noodles
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips (or peanut butter chips)
- 36 pastel candy eggs
Instructions
- Place milk chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a large microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave on high for 30 seconds.
- Stir the chocolate mixture well.
- Microwave for another 30 seconds.
- Stir until smooth and fully melted.
- Add the chow mein noodles into the bowl.
- Gently fold the noodles into the melted chocolate until coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
- Spoon heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto the parchment to form nest shapes.
- Use the back of the spoon to make a small indentation in each nest.
- Press three pastel candy eggs into each nest before the chocolate sets.
- Let the nests sit at room temperature until firm.
- Transfer to the refrigerator for faster setting if desired.
- Once firm, carefully remove nests from parchment.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
