Description
A hearty and flavorful crockpot recipe featuring tender kielbasa, fresh green beans, and buttery baby potatoes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef kielbasa, sliced into rounds
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth (low sodium)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Layer the ingredients at the bottom of your crockpot, adding the halved baby potatoes and diced onion. Layer the green beans on top, followed by the sliced beef kielbasa.
- Add flavor over the minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and just a pinch of salt. Pour the chicken broth over everything to keep it moist and flavorful.
- Cook low and slow on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender and the flavors are beautifully melded.
- Stir and serve before serving. The potatoes will be buttery soft, the green beans tender, and the kielbasa will have soaked up all that delicious broth. Serve it warm, ideally with crusty bread or a side of cornbread.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider using smoked kielbasa instead of regular.
- This dish can be easily adjusted for larger servings.
